Campus Renovation Updates
Wesleyan is growing with purpose – enhancing the student experience while fostering deeper connection and community. We are excited to share our progress and encourage you to stay informed with the latest updates on campus renovations, updated traffic patterns, impacts on classes\programs, and much more.

Wesleyan Christian Academy has been incredibly blessed by the generosity of a donor who envisions a meaningful, welcoming space where students can gather, connect, and grow together. Thanks to this gift, we will soon have a beautifully designed dining hall and student commons area that not only enhances our daily campus experience but also strengthens the sense of community that defines Wesleyan.
Here are some highlights of the project:
The new Drake Dining Hall will feature a completely renovated space that includes a new roof, HVAC system, flooring, expedited serving lines, brand new sound system, and increased dining capacity.
The new Student Commons area will be located where the current Elementary Music Room is and provide additional student seating for the dining hall, a coffee shop, 85″ multi-media screen, and a much needed gathering spot for student clubs, parent and faculty meetings, and fellowship opportunities.
Our new Full-Service Kitchen is sponsored by FLIK and will provide a streamlined and modern space designed to support high quality food preparation. Brand new appliances will include energy efficient ovens, industrial grade refrigeration, high-speed dishwashing systems, and advanced ventilation for improved air quality.

Last day of School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Tuesday, August 12, 2025
The new Drake Dining Hall and Student Commons Area will be available for the first day of school.
FLIK will continue to provide lunch for our students, faculty, and staff during this transitional period. Head Chef Stephen Klein and his team will continue to operate out of the current kitchen until the end of the school year. Then, our food service team will temporarily relocate their operations to the Farlow Kennedy Center Kitchen. Following a thorough inspection, our local Health Inspector has approved this space for food service.
From May 12–22, 2025, FLIK will offer the following meal services:

- 5th–12th Grade: Students will pick up their lunches from designated tables near the elevator.
Students are also welcome to bring lunch from home. However, please note that microwaves will not be available for 5th-12th grades during this period.

As part of our upcoming campus renovations, we will be implementing new traffic patterns for both arrival and dismissal to ensure the safety of our students and the efficiency of campus flow during construction. These changes are necessary to accommodate building zones, protect students, and minimize congestion during busy times of day.
We appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we transition into this new phase of campus improvement. Detailed maps and specific instructions can be downloaded below to help make the adjustment as smooth as possible for families, students, and staff.
