The AGG Impact

Wesleyan Christian Academy’s Annual Gift Giving campaign raises funds for specific enhancements that will benefit our students. Over the last 25 years, more than $3.5 million has been raised for AGG. 

All gifts are tax deductible. For more information, please contact the Development Office at (336) 884-3333 x269.

Tuition is the primary source of revenue for the operational budget, but the operational budget cannot provide the enhancements that have helped to make the academy an exceptionally strong Christian school. 

The AGG campaign provides enhancements for:

  • The classroom – equipment and educational resources
  • Athletics 
  • Fine Arts 
  • Technology 
  • Media Center
  • Playground equipment
  • Financial Aid and much more


Some of the projects that AGG has funded include the renovation of the cafeteria and library, the new Centennial Elementary field, new WIFI access points all around campus, Google Chromebooks, and iPads.

Family Involvement

The success of the AGG campaign is directly related to the support by academy families. The goal is to have 100% of all students participate. Classrooms that reach their participation goal are recognized and awarded special activities.

Corporate Sponsors

In addition to the financial support provided by Wesleyan families, the academy has been fortunate to have many local businesses that support the AGG through becoming a Corporate Sponsor. Over 100 local businesses annually support the AGG campaign. Their generosity and support is deeply appreciated and impacts the lives of students. An appreciation golf tournament is scheduled each year to thank our sponsors, and we also recognize each sponsor on our AGG Corporate Sponsor wall.  

AGG

The Annual Gift Giving (AGG) program began in 1991 to replace multiple fundraising projects which had become challenging to administer as well as repetitive in requesting support from parents. Today, the AGG is a school-wide event that occurs one time a year, which incorporates students, staff, parents, grandparents, and local businesses in a focused campaign that is directed by a steering committee of parent volunteers and assisted by staff from the Development Department.
