Mission

The Wesleyan Christyian Academy Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes members of the Wesleyan family who have distinguished themselves as outstanding contributors to the school’s athletic program by having demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship and character and established high standards of excellence in athletic achievement. Their legacy inspires current and future Trojans to pursue greatness—for His glory.

Eligibility Requirements

ATHLETES

Must be a WCA graduate of five or more years.
Demonstrates extraordinary athletic achievement, distinguishing him or her from other WCA athletes. Defined by, but not limited to, earning local, state, and national recognition while a student-athlete at Wesleyan.
Represents the highest values of our school and athletic program; is a person of character, leadership, and dedication and has enhanced the reputation of Wesleyan.
Accomplishments in athletics are the primary criteria, but post-graduate athletic achievements and participation may also be considered.

COACHES

The coach significantly contributed to Wesleyan athletics through his or her leadership, inspiration, spiritual guidance, and service to our students, staff, family, and community.
Must have served at Wesleyan Christian Academy for a minimum of seven years.
Must be a former and/or retired Wesleyan Christian Academy coach and be in good standing.

CONTRIBUTOR

Rendered extraordinary service to the athletic program at Wesleyan Christian Academy in ways other than participation on or coaching of teams.
If the contributor was an employee of Wesleyan, he or she should be inactive and/or retired and in good standing.

TEAM

The Wesleyan team has achieved athletic accomplishments that distinguish their group over and above other high-achieving athletic teams.
Eligible a minimum of five years after the season for which the team is being recognized.
Must have exemplified high standards of sportsmanship

Nomination Instructions

Do you know a trojan who belongs here?

Nominations will be accepted from all members of the Wesleyan community, including current and former faculty and staff, coaches, parents, students, and alumni. Nomination forms are available by clicking below. In addition, the selection committee may nominate an individual or team.

Only complete nominations will be considered if received by the deadline. All nominations received for consideration must contain current contact information for the nominee (or family, if deceased) along with a letter of recommendation and support not to exceed one typewritten page from an individual who can validate/substantiate pertinent information related to the Wesleyan athletic career of the nominee. All nominations will remain open until membership is considered.
