As the elementary school counselor, my goal is to support both you and your child, offering services and resources to guide and encourage you throughout this journey. I am committed to partnering with the families of Wesleyan Christian Academy, helping our elementary students grow into kind, capable, and Godly young individuals. Early identification and intervention for academic and personal/social needs are key to removing barriers to learning and fostering academic success. The knowledge, attitudes, and skills your child gains during these years lay a strong foundation for their future.

I am here to assist in any way I can and look forward each year to sharing valuable insights that can support you and your child through these formative years. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you might have—my door is always open to you and your student.

Plugged In Online is a Focus on the Family publication designed to shine a light on the world of popular entertainment while giving families the essential tools they need to understand, navigate, and impact the culture in which they live. Through our reviews, articles, and discussions, we hope to spark intellectual thought, spiritual growth, and a desire to follow the command of Colossians 2:8: “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.”

Focus on the Family is a global Christian ministry that helps build thriving marriages that reflect God’s design and equips parents to raise their children according to morals and values grounded in biblical principles. They come alongside families as a guide to everyday, real issues by responding at their point of need with relevance, excellence, and grace; protecting and helping them guard themselves against the harmful influences of culture; teaching about God and His beautiful design for the family; and mobilizing and equipping families to reach out beyond themselves to impact the lives of others.

Focus provides practical help for families through our 1-800 Family Help line, counseling, various websites, radio and Internet broadcasts, forums and blogs, magazines, audio and video resources, books, and other print resources, E-newsletters, programs and events, community outreach efforts, and partnerships.
