ABOUT THE SHOW

Set in New York City at the turn of the 20th century, Newsies tells the inspiring story of a group of young newspaper sellers who long for dignity, purpose, and a better future. When powerful publishers make decisions that unfairly burden the teenagers who rely on selling papers to survive, the newsies choose to stand together and speak up for what is right. Led by the courageous Jack Kelly, they learn the power of unity, integrity, and perseverance in the face of injustice. Through their journey, Newsies reflects biblical themes of standing for truth, loving one another, and using one’s voice to bring about positive change. Filled with high-energy choreography, heartfelt moments, and a message of hope, this production celebrates faith in action, community, and the strength found in doing what honors God.
