“As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.” John 17:18

VISION

Missions Impact Week creates a schoolwide, immersive experience that helps students see mission not as a one-time event, but as a way of life. Every believer is called to live on mission, wherever they are.

LEANING

We will begin Missions Impact Week with an opening assembly that brings together students and staff from all divisions. This time will be centered on intentional worship and leaning into prayer as a unified community, inviting God to move in powerful ways throughout the week and prepare our hearts for all that is ahead.

LISTENING

Students in each division will gather for their own chapel experience, featuring interactive, chapel-style teaching designed to help students grow in confidence as they share their personal testimonies. We are also excited to welcome a guest worship band from Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, who will lead students in worship during each chapel.

LEARNING

Middle and High School students will engage in breakout sessions led by a guest speaker, helping them better understand what it means to live on mission within their unique contexts. Elementary students will participate in a prayer walk focused on recognizing the importance of prayer and learning simple, meaningful ways to pray.

LEAVING

High school students will serve off campus throughout our local community, partnering with more than 20 organizations to meet real needs and make a meaningful impact. Our elementary and middle school students will participate in a packathon with Feed the Hunger, working together to pack meals for those in need. Wesleyan faculty and staff will also serve alongside our students, reinforcing the importance of service as a shared community experience.

LOVING

We will conclude Missions Impact Week by beginning the day with a closing ceremony, bringing students and staff together to reflect on all that God has done throughout the week. Following the ceremony, students in grades TK–12 will participate in a Missions Fair featuring nearly 50 missionaries on campus. Through meaningful conversations and interactive experiences, students will gain a deeper understanding of both local and global missions by hearing directly from those who share the gospel in a variety of contexts and callings.

LIVING ON MISSION EVERY DAY, EVERYWHERE.

Missions Impact Week Journals

Every staff member, student, and guest will receive a Missions Impact Week journal and pen. Students will receive their journals prior to their divisional chapel, and each journal includes the student’s schedule for breakout sessions, Service Day, and the Missions Fair on Friday. Throughout Missions Impact Week, the journal will serve as a guided space for students to reflect, write, and thoughtfully respond to what God is teaching them through worship, speakers, and service opportunities. This intentional practice helps students engage more deeply with the week’s experiences and encourages spiritual growth beyond the scheduled events.
